This site is for owners of Yamaha mid- and upper-level arranger keyboards (PSR-S900, PSR-3000, PSR-2100, PSR-2000, Tyros1, and Tyros 2.) Whether you are a professional musician or an amateur home enthusiast, you will find useful information in the hundreds of pages available here.  PSR3000 keyboardOur focus is on helping everyone learn how to get the best out of their keyboard. Recent additions to the site are shown in the box to the right. The links at the top of this page (and every page) take you to our seven main sections. Hold your mouse over the links above for a brief description of the contents in each section. Click on the link to go to that section.

The Lessons, originally written for the PSR-2000, apply equally well to subsequent PSR and Tyros keyboards. Even Clavinova owners can benefit from the lessons and the other resources available here.  Although screen shots may differ slightly among the PSR models, functionally all of these keyboards operate in much the same way. By the way, if you've never actually heard any of the top Yamaha keyboards, try the MP3s on our Arranger Artists page, or order one of the three MP3 CDs below where you will hear some great performances done on the PSRs as well as other keyboards.

The What's New page is updated whenever new information is added to the site. The last 10 recent additions are shown at the top of this page in "Recent Additions" box. The PSR Tutorial is managed and maintained by Joe Waters, Sterling, Virginia ( jpwaters@gmail.com).

Arranger Keyboard Music on MP3 CDs

Haven't heard a PSR-3000 or a Tyros or, in fact, any arranger keyboard? Midi files can show off a performer's talent, but you need to play the midi on a similar keyboard to hear the song as it was originally recorded. If you don't already have the keyboard, you're out of luck. Alternatively, you can listen to songs saved in an MP3 format, which will give you a much better idea of what these keyboards can do. For some great examples of what arranger keyboards can do, you'll find the PSR Tutorial Arranger Artist MP3 CDs an invaluable learning tool.
